Adaptiva names former COO Jim Souders to Chief Executive Officer

Seattle, WA, Jan. 31, 2017 – Adaptiva, the market leader in smart scaling systems management, today appointed Jim Souders as chief executive officer. Souders previously held the position of chief operations officer at Adaptiva where he drove the company’s unprecedented growth, including a 100 percent increase in new customer revenues for the company’s peer-to-peer systems management technology.

Souders has focused much of last year on building his executive team, streamlining business operations, and expanding the addressable market. He has also spearheaded the rapid increase in sales of the company’s flagship OneSite™ content distribution engine and driven go-to-market for the company’s Client Health™ endpoint health and security product. In 2017, Souders will lead the next phase in the company’s evolution, including an anticipated 300% growth in engineering staff for new product development to meet the growing market demand for Adaptiva’s technology and facilitate the enterprise deployment of Windows 10.

Prior to Adaptiva, Souders was general manager and vice president at Dorado Software, which specializes in the development, licensing, and support of software defined network management and orchestration software. He has led high growth organizations through all stages of company evolution, including public offering and acquisition. He brings experience in delivering a variety of leading-edge technologies, such as IT infrastructure management, cross-platform mobile application development, software defined networks management, and wireless supply chain automation systems.
